As many of you know, my husband will be deploying to Iraq again May 1. He is commander of 2 infantry units in North MS. Both are really great groups of men and the towns (Hernando and Holly Springs) are so wonderful to help support their local units. Every unit has a Family Readiness Group..basically a family support..for the soldiers families to have when their soldier is deployed. We rally together to make sure that no family is in need of anything. Things tend to happen during a deployment that wouldn't happen at any other time it seems like. We do alot of fundraisers and local groups and individuals are so generous in helping with our FRG. We had these t-shirts made to sell at our second annual Holiday Market in Hernando last November and they are very cute!! The front left has the yellow ribbon with "Support out Troops". The back has an American flag with a yellow ribbon tied around it that says, "We're all tied up til y'all come home!" They are very similar to the Southern Belle type t-shirts. Please leave me a comment about military support and on Monday, January 26, I will do a random drawing for the t-shirt of your choice!!! Support out troops!!

What a cute shirt! You all will be in my prayers while Drew is away.
How blessed we are that folks like Drew are willing to serve our country. You and all the family members left behind are heroes also! Love the t-shirts.
May God bless you and your family...my husband just recently retired after over 28 years in the Army. We are behind all of the troops 100%!

I really love that shirt. Great way to support our troops. Love to buy one. Please call me anytime you need help. Becky
I believe those who serve in the military are alot like teachers; it is a calling, not a way to get rich. Being a prior Marine wife, I can say that I do try to think often about who has paid the price for me sleeping so soundly many nights. But my heart then always leaps to the ones who keep the home fires burning. It just cannot be understood unless lived, much like most things. And yes, you are right, crazy things happen when we have to wear all hats in the household. (My 17 year old was born while Cass was in Desert Storm!) Heather, you are a fine example of support and I just know you have a lot to do with your husband being able to do his job as well as he does. I will be praying for your entire family.
My nephew has had two tours in Iraq and it has not been easy knowing he was there. It is hard on the family at home but it keeps the guys overseas going knowing their loved ones are here waiting for them. You and yours will be in my prayers. Jackie Kerben
I give God all the glory for preparing you to be the wife, mother (which covers many areas), that you are. It's also a blessing to see when someone ALLOWS God to be the #1 person in their lives. It shows through the strength they gain when times get hard. You, Heather, are a perfect example of that. To Drew and ALL of our Military WE SALUTE YOU for the freedom we have and pray your protection! To ALL of the wives and family protecting the homefront, WE SALUTE YOU with open arms, a listening ear, and a pouring of prayers.
I'm sure it does the soldiers heart good to know there's support going on for them at home.
T-shirts are too cute!
How long will he be gone? I will be praying for you and the kids while he is in Iraq.
I am grateful that Josh served but I have to admit I was very grateful when he came home. I will be praying for Drew and his men until they come home again. Love the shirt and would be proud to wear it. BTW, your CD is at your Mom's.
girl. . . . you are so strong and courageous. just like your sweet husband and all the other men and women who serve our country!!!
i love the tshirt design. what a great idea!
I am such a procrastinator!! I love the shirts and have some friends interested in buying one! I can't imagine what the families of soldiers go through and deal with. You will definitely be in my prayers!!
